Linda Manire
I want to give a shout out to my coworker Linda Manire, she is a dedicated person who loves her job and makes a day fun. She works hard and gets the job done and is very helpful to others . Working with her makes the day go better, serious about our work but manage to have moments of laughter.

Graciela Ponce
Graciela is always a kind person in the cafeteria. She always has a hello and a smile. I used to see her every morning at the front door to the building, but don't anymore. It is good to see her when I get lunch at least. Thank you Graciela for all you do!

Jake Casteel
Jake is a true Seahawk fan! It is always fun to talk football with him. He is always happy when serving the students and staff. When I see him in the hall, he always has a wave or a hi. He makes everyone feel welcome. Go Hawks!!

Jami Halverson
Jami is my parking neighbor in the parking lot. It is always nice to see someone every morning and get to wish them a nice day. She is always good at reminding me to sign when I want to just walk out with my lunch, ha! Thank you Jami for all you do and your multitasking abilities.

Linda Manire
Linda is an important part of our culinary team. I appreciate her efforts to make sure that our students' food is hot and ready everyday. Linda cares about her colleagues and will advocate for them when needed. Linda understands that there is an opportunity to care for, support and educate students when they are in the lunch line. She is kind but has high standards for students when they are waiting in line. She wants to make sure that students are safe while waiting in line. She shows how much she cares in the brief interactions that she has with students everyday. Thank you Linda for the big things and the little moments you have everyday at JMS to support students.

Glenda Huddleston
This is my eleventh year at JMS, and I often think of the staff that have been with me this entire journey. I have been fortunate to have partnered with Glenda Huddleston this whole time, starting with the tiny kitchen at the old Jemtegaard, where three people could barely fit, and then moving to our wonderful new kitchen area at the new Jemtegaard. A lot has happened over the last eleven years. Throughout all of this, Glenda has been a positive, hard-working leader in the kitchen. Staff have come and gone, but Glenda is still here, serving our students daily. Glenda and I have successfully worked together because we want what is best for our students. Thank you, Glenda, for your many years serving Jemtegaard students. On a personal note, thank you for the many laughs. You brighten my day with your humor and the 80s songs playing in the kitchen.

Jake cares about building positive relationships with those around him. Jake makes sure that the kitchen is not just a place where students get food, but it is also a place where students can connect with an adult they trust or vent a frustration if needed. He will lend an ear, provide sage advice, or try to make you smile. He takes time each day to connect with with students, as well as with staff members. He helps make CCMS a great place for all!
