Thinking About Solar?
Some things to know before proceeding!
Solar installation can only be done by a licensed contractor, who must obtain all necessary permits prior to installation and provide copies to the Warebrook Board of Directors along with a copy of the Purchase Power Agreement.
The Solar installer needs to certify that the roof is structurally sound and does not need repair or new shingles.
Should the roof need repair and the solar has to be removed and re-installed, the unit owner bears all costs.
The unit owner must be up to date on their monthly assessments.
The unit owner understands that damage done to the solar system may not be covered by the village Master Insurance Policy.
The Solar Company and Unit Owner shall indemnify Warebrook Village, the Board of Directors and its officers against any loss, injury, death or damage related to the installation and or use of the solar system.
If you encounter rude and or aggressive sales people please give their company name to the board.
Talk to your neighbors who currently have solar about their performance. Savings are not guaranteed, so please understand the fine print of your agreement.
