The yDNA test results indicate that our haplogroup is R1b1a2 (old nomenclature) or, R-M269 (new nomenclature). It's a very broad haplogroup R branch.
This link Y-DNA Haplogroup R and its Subclades shows both the old and new nomenclatures. The reason for switching to new nomenclature is because the old nomenclature consists of a string of letters and numbers. And it can get too long.
