Walnut Ridge is a privately owned classified forest. As such, it is generally NOT open to the public. With a preapproved permit some non-profit organizations such as scouting organizations, church youth groups, forestry organizations and select local individuals are permitted on the property for day and night activities with prior permission. Entry with prior permission is only allowed from the main entrance.
