Battery Replacement

When the battery power nears exhaustion, the display gradually dims, then disappears, and the calculator stops.

Caution: When Replacing Batteries

• • Use two Alkaline-Manganese Batteries or Silver Oxide Batteries.

  • Do not use an old battery together with a new one.

  • Do not use batteries other than those specified.

  • Be sure, the batteries are inserted properly.

How to Replace

• 1. Turn two pieces of screws out of back lid.

  2. Remove the back lid from the base board.

  3. Replace the batteries and insert new ones.

  4. Replace the screws back. Don’t overtighten them.
