About this site
The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and dependent on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.

This site is devoted to Sara "DragonflySara" Vogler. My academic and professional successes, research projects, YouTube and Twitch careers, and anything else that I consider part of my life.
I started my life as a gamer on my grandfather's lap. My earliest games were Police Academy and Lemmings. I have Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Minor in Space Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics: both from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, USA. I have been published as an undergraduate in Physics and Planetary Science. My jobs before and after my collegiate education were mostly within the Fields of Medical Support and Hospitality. During my undergraduate career I obtained experience in education and research as well as web development. During a year spent in the Ph.D. program at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks I got even more extensive education experience.
In the early 2000s, I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder. It has gotten progressively worse as I have gotten older and now prevents me from functioning in normal ways in my community or at a standard career.
I live in Calgary, Alberta with my sister and our two cats, Oliver and Teddy.
My primary focus at this time is my Online Creator career. I regularly upload to YouTube and stream on Twitch. My handle on both is, of course, DragonflySara.
What does Minecraft, The Sims 4, Stardew Valley, Medieval Dynasty, and Dwarf Fortress have in common? In all these games you gather raw resources to craft things by your own hand (or that of avatars and dwarves). These are the types of games I, DragonflySara, like to play. And I like to play with others so I record and publish for the sense of community that it brings.
