This began in 1987. First rough collie of Russian stock, not too high level breeding. Then several Estonian collies, most memorable of them was a black female who died when I left home for doing PhD abroad. She was very special, I'll never forget her.
I worked in a local kennel club where started as a secretary and finished as a head of the club, in three years.
I had a registered FCI kennel (though our best litter was registered in Estonia anyway, at Kasepere).
I am a qualified show judge of 2nd category.
My mum in Russia had a nice blue-merle female collie, daughter of two Russian Champions - unfortunately, this 8-year old nice lady had never been mated and died in June of 2008.
