The vineyards of Magnesia are located in the New Aghialos region. Vines can also be found in the near by Almyros region.
In recent years has developed the viticulture and wine production in the region of Argalasti (Southern Pelio).
(Ceres, the goddess of grain and agriculture.) In 1908 refugees from Eastern Rοmelia settled in New Anchialos bringing with them the artistry of wine making. The Cooperative was founded by them in 1918 and has since been active in many areas of processing and marketing agricultural products.
