Rate for a typical group of 10 participants for six nights (including all meals and lodging) is about $1800 (or $180 per person). We can host a maximum of 55 students plus staff per week. Shorter trips are available. Email us with the dates and size of your group for more specifics.
Note: Our rates for one week in Appalachia are generally less than $200 per person. We keep our costs low by renting our facility on a weekly basis and we use volunteers. Our facility in Harlan is safe, sanitary and modern. The dorm has metal fire escapes, smoke detectors, and separate men's and women's baths with separate showers. The dining room and kitchen are new and spotlessly clean.
Directions to the site will be emailed one week before the trip.
Note: During the winter months, we do not recommend the use of 15-passenger vans, due to safety concerns. Many colleges and universities have stopped using them. Minivans with front-wheel drive are preferred - in winter months (Late October through early March) we may encounter some snow or even ice on the mountain roads. Your safety is our highest priority!
