Mastering computer software or hardware takes time and effort but I can make climbing the learning curve easier by providing the training that you need when you need it.
Most computers used for work spend their time running office applications (database, presentation, spreadsheet, word processing).
I can provide basic to advanced level training in Microsoft Office and teach Open University courses on computer networking, operating systems, robotics, cyber security and penetration testing,
or the cross platform, free and open source alternatives OpenOffice.org or Libre Office
I have experience delivering training online, in a class room setting, in the work place and on a one to one basis. For small busy organisations where I score is in delivering training on what you need, when you want it. This can be through site visits or remotely using collaboration tools such as virtual classrooms.
If you are interested in using using OpenOffice.org then perhaps you are also thinking of using Linux on your laptop, workstations or server with the stylish 'Tux' penguin logo instead of MS Windows, I can help to make the transition easier.
Many training programes fall down by wasting time teaching you stuff that you are never going to use instead of
focusing on what you need to know in language you can understand.
With an Open University qualification in online & distance education I can also help develop and deliver online training materials for your staff, volunteers or client groups.

Personal IT Security
IT security is important, particularly now as more staffare working from home or remotely. To be effective personal IT security measures should be practised regularly and become habitual for all staff. All staff should undertake mandatory training in personal IT security. It is easy to become complacent so we also recommend regular refresher training every eighteen months to two years.
Contact me and discuss your training needs.
