The History and Archaeology of Perthshire
From the low lying Carse of Gowrie to high mountains and moor lands the diverse landscapes of Perthshire reflect the activities of people over the centuries. The countryside and townscapes of today can give us fascinating glimpses into the past, how people have created what we see around us.Over six weeks the class looked at how the past has shaped and still shapes the rich and varied built and natural environment that we see around us. Using illustrated talks and discussions we explored the continuing story of man in the landscape.
If your interests run a little wider I have also been a tutor for an Open University courses in
World Archaeology and heritage studies
