Speaker Series

The Speaker Series is an event that consists of a medical professional coming into the high school and giving a presentation on their occupation. It occurs around every month and provides an opportunity for students to learn more about the medical field from a verified point of view. 

11/13/20- Dr. Gavin Fine, presentation about Anesthesiology and working with Operation Smile. 

12/8/20- Michael Ross, presentation over being a Pediatric Psychiatrist. 

3/4/21- Dr. Minda Weldon, covering the occupation of Epidemiology with the City of Austin.

3/25/21- Dr. Arthy Saravanan, studying Body/Cross-sectional Imaging with x ARA Diagnostic Imaging.

4/6/21: Dr. Vanessa Pena-Robichaux & Dr. William Negron, presentation on Dermatology with Central Texas Veteran Administration.

4/29/21: Dr. Samuel Gosling, covering Personality Psychology plus the study of Psychology- Professor at UT Austin. 

5/19/21: Dr. Emily Stone, teaching the study and process of Therapy- speech not arranged by HOSA. 

9/27/21- Kashmiere McGee, Crime Scene Specialist
