VIKINGS ULTIMATE SPRING MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAM
In the Spring, we host a Vikings Ultimate Spring Middle School Team. We started this team to expand opportunities for younger kids to play ultimate and to help develop our high school ultimate program. It runs on Wednesday evenings in April and May and gives players the opportunity for players to compete in a tournament against other area middle schools at the IL State Middle School Tournament on a Saturday in mid-May. Here are the essentials:
Who: Any 6-8th grade student
What: Learn the basics of Ultimate and have fun playing!
When: Wednesdays 6-7:15pm, April 3rd – May 8th
Middle School State Tournament on SA 5/11 (7:45am ~ 4pm)
Where: Coultrap Field (Corner of Lincoln & Ford)
Why: Learn Throwing, Catching, Cutting, Defending (learn the game of Ultimate).
Playing Ultimate is a great way for kids to stay active and learn skills.
Playing Ultimate is lots of fun!
How: Coach Schoen and GHS Team members help players become great!
Cost: $100 per player (covers camp, 2 Jerseys, Disc, transportation, tournament)
