IHS Vienna

October  17 - 19, 2024

Organizers: David Andolfatto (U Miami), Martin Gervais (Georgia) and Gabriel Lee (Regensburg and IHS); Michael Reiter (IHS, Local Organizer)

We invite you to submit a paper to our 2024 (19th Anniversary) Wien Macroeconomics Workshop, which will take place on October 17 - 19, 2024. For a history of this conference, please refer to: https://sites.google.com/site/viennamacrocafe/home.

If you would like to present or discuss a paper (or just participate) please fill out the following Google Form by Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Submission of papers in all areas of macroeconomics is encouraged. The selected papers to be presented will, however, reflect the interests of the organizers and participants.

In addition to our Annual Wien Macro, we are again planning to hold a Ph.D. poster/presentation session (students from the Vienna Graduate School of Economics, VGSE) and the Greenhorn Session (Thursday, October 17, 4-7 p.m.).

Presenters and discussants are expected to cover their own travel costs and hotel accommodations. The conference organizers will cover lunches and conference dinners for all invited participants.

The Vienna Workshop 2024 is generously sponsored by the Institut fuer Hoehere Studien (IHS Vienna), Rutgers Business School Newark and New Brunswick: Center for Real Estate (Mo Davis), and John Deutsch Institute  (Christopher Cotton, Allen Head)

We would also like to announce that Henry Siu (UBC) will host our 2025 (6th) Global Macroeconomics Workshop either in March or May 2025 in Vancouver.

Please forward this call for papers to anyone you think could be interested.

Best Regards,

David, Gabe and Martin
