Call for Papers 2025 (20th) Annual Wien Macroeconomics Workshop
IHS Vienna
October 17 - 18, 2025
Organizers: David Andolfatto (U Miami), Martin Gervais (Georgia) and Gabriel Lee (Regensburg and IHS); Leopold Sögner/Michael Reiter (IHS, Local Organizers)
We invite you to submit a paper to our 2025 (19th Anniversary) Wien Macroeconomics Workshop, which will take place on October 17 - 18, 2025. For a history of this conference, please refer to: https://sites.google.com/site/viennamacrocafe/home.
If you would like to present or discuss a paper (or participate), please complete the following Google Form by Sunday, June 29, 2025.
Submission of papers in all areas of macroeconomics is encouraged. The selected papers to be presented will, however, reflect the interests of the organizers and participants.
In addition to our Annual Wien Macro, we are again planning to hold a Ph.D. poster/presentation session (students from the Vienna Graduate School of Economics, VGSE), but due to the budget constraint, there will NOT be a separate Greenhorn Session this year.
Presenters and discussants are expected to cover travel costs and hotel accommodations. The conference organizers will cover lunches and conference dinners for all invited participants.
The Vienna Workshop 2025 is generously sponsored by the Institut fuer Hoehere Studien (IHS Vienna), Vienna Graduate School of Economics (VGSE, Maarten Janssen), Manchester School (Akos Valentinyi), and John Deutsch Institute (Christopher Cotton, Allen Head)
Please forward this call for papers to anyone you think could be interested.
Best Regards,
David, Gabe and Martin
