Chapter 7 Nothing is what it seems to be (part 2)

Nothing is what it seems to be

An initial call on the moral and ethical aspects of Artificial Intelligence was made by the elder brother already at their first encounter in the beginning of the book. In this last chapter they discuss again about this topic with even more questions then at the beginning.

Is humanity orchestrating change? Or are we becoming dependant of more intelligent super-powers?  The route to a kind of utopian paradise is frightening and so is the idea that mankind has created and invented beyond their overseeable scope. Shouldn't scientists do more on selfreflection and bring fundamental ethical and moral debates more into the open? What happens to our values, our faith, our compassion? Did we turn the genesis upsidedown? Did Men create God in the shape of Artificial Intelligence?
