Today the team made progress comparing the data from the sensor on Fondamente San Severo (San Lorenzo) to the data from the Punta Salute (Centro Maree) on the Venice Project Center Dashboard. Although there is a small deviation, the data presented a trend of the tides showing Punta Salute following behind the sensor at San Lorenzo. The estimated time offset is two minutes. Additionally, the team was able to discover, based on the data, that the offset that was set for the sensor was slightly off. Through constant surveillance around high tide, the offset was found to be two centimeters greater than that was programmed for the sensor.
