Polls

Polls are a fantastic way of engaging your students during the session. For example, you can request instant feedback on what is being presented, test the students' understanding of the material and create a basis for discussion.

To create a poll (in advance of the class), follow the steps below:

0. Open a Share Pod by clicking on Pods in the top menu and selecting Add New Share

1. Within the Poll pod, click on the triangle to select one of the three available types of questions:

Multiple choice (only one answer is accepted)
Multiple answers (several answers can be accepted)
Short Answer (The students can write a short answer)

2. Enter the question in the indicated space in the Poll pod. Then enter possible answers in the indicated space below. If you have chosen Short Answer as the type of question, you do not need to provide possible answers.

3. To save your poll, click Open.

To run a poll (during the class):

0. Open a Share Pod by clicking on Pods in the top menu and selecting Poll.

1. In the upper-right corner of the Poll pod, click the menu icon , select Select Poll and then click on the name of the poll you want to use.

2. To share poll results with the students, click on Broadcast Results.
