Vale of York Poultry now have Polish pullets in multiple different colours. We have a Buff Laced, Silver laced, Golden Laced and a White Crested Blue Polish, Chamois They are all a little goofy and a whole lot of fun! Because of the crest of feathers on their head, they are easily startled as they can' t see much around or behind them.  You may wish to trim their topknots from time to time.  

Also make sure that they can find their food and water easily, preferably at (or close to) ground level, as they can only really see what's in front of them!

They lay around 180-200 white eggs per year, and you can expect your first eggs around 20 weeks or later. While they may not be prolific egg layers, they certainly make up for it in personality! Polish chickens are gentle, great with kids.
