Pack 102 has been continuously chartered since 1961 by the American Legion Post #125 in Lompoc, CA. We have been a Family Pack since 2018 when BSA allowed females to join Cub Scouts.
We serve the families of Vandenberg SFB, CA and most of the facilities we use for our meetings and camps are base facilities which we have safe, unfettered access to.
We typically do a fundraiser in the early Fall, a family Pack campout in late Fall, Pinewood Derby in January, another family Pack campout in Spring along with hiking, food drives, community service, guest speakers, Scouting banquets, and end of year graduation ceremonies. It all makes for a pretty packed schedule for your child to learn life skills in a safe environment.
With our close ties to the space, rocket, and missile industries, we are privileged to have easy access to many STEM resources. We try to take full advantage of that and are creating a full blown Cub Scouting Nova Award STEM Club!
