Step One: Reserve a campsite or lodge room.

Reservations open six months ahead. If you want to be reminded in December to book your site, please make sure you are receiving our group emails!

• book online at www.recreation.gov -- You will have to set up an account. Then, in the left margin, you'll enter the type of camping site you need, the state (VA), the name of the park: Big Meadows, and the date (June 21, 2019, for 2 nights). Once you enter this information, you will get a page on the right that will enable you to see a map of the campground and what sites are available.

• book your room online at www.goshenandoah.com/Big-Meadows-Lodge -- The rates for rooms change as the dates get closer, so book your room(s) sooner rather than later. There are a number of different size rooms and packages, so shop around to find what fits best for you.

Step Three: Pay your retreat registration fee.

The registration fee is $10 for adults and teenagers. The money goes towards reimbursing our fellow retreatants for their purchases of the supplies the community uses for the weekend. This includes the food and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for happy hour, as well as the disposables, buns, fixins, s'mores, juice boxes, charcoal, and other needed supplies for the potluck.
