柴山教授が、The 6th Asian-Pacific Congress in Nursing Education の Co-Host に就任しました。また、工藤助教は、オーストラリア・ブリスベンにあるクイーンズランド工科大学で開催された同学会のプレカンファレンス「Implementation of the Advanced Practice Nursing Systems across countries」において、日本の Advanced Practice Nursing system とその実装状況について講演し、ディスカッションを行いました。

Prof. Shibayama has been appointed as a Co-Host of the 6th Asian-Pacific Congress in Nursing Education. In addition, Asst. Prof. Kudoh delivered a lecture and participated in a discussion on “The Advanced Practice Nursing System in Japan and Its Implementation Status” at the Pre-conference titled “Implementation of the Advanced Practice Nursing Systems across Countries,” held at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.

Report and Appreciation on the Conclusion of the 30th Annual Conference of the Japan Academy of Diabetes Education and Nursing

柴山教授が大会長を務めました「第30回日本糖尿病教育・看護学会」が、9月20日から9月21日にかけて開催されました。多くの皆さまにご参加いただき、盛況のうちに無事に終えることができました。ご参加下さった方々、また学会運営にご協力いただいた皆さまに心より感謝申し上げます。研究室一同、学会を通して貴重な経験をさせていただきました。この経験を今後の研究や教育にも活かしてまいりたいと思います。

Prof. SHIBAYAMA served as the Chair of the 30th Annual Meeting of the Japan Academy of Diabetes Education and Nursing, which was held from September 20 to 21.

Thanks to the participation of many attendees, the conference was successfully concluded in a lively and fruitful manner. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who participated and to everyone who supported the operation of the conference.

Through this meeting, our laboratory members gained valuable experiences, which we will make the most of in our future research and educational activities.

2024年度インド若手研究人材招へいプログラムで招聘したスワミラマヒマラヤン大学の修士課程2年生のDEEKSHA POKHRIYALさんの送別会を行いました。滞在中は、研究室の一員として多くの学びや交流の機会をともにし、私たちに新たな気づきと刺激を与えてくださいました。短い期間ではありましたが、心温まる思い出とともに、かけがえのない時間を共有できたことを嬉しく思います。またお会いできる日を楽しみにしています。

We held a farewell party for Ms. DEEKSHA POKHRIYAL, a second-year master's student at Swami Rama Himalayan University, who was invited to Japan under the 2024 Young Researchers Invitation Program from India. During her stay, she became a part of our laboratory, sharing many opportunities for learning and interaction, and bringing us new insights and inspiration. Although her time with us was short, we are grateful to have shared meaningful and heartwarming moments together.

We look forward to the day when we can meet again!

We were honored to welcome Dr. Omori, a 2018 doctoral graduate of the University of Tsukuba Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, who delivered a lecture titled "Clinical Experience in the United States: A Story from a Doctoral Graduate."

工藤助教が代表（共同）を務める「糖尿病の口腔管理についての情報発信を目的とした教育啓発活動」が令和7年度筑波大学社会貢献プロジェクトに採択されました。

An educational outreach initiative titled "Educational activities aimed at disseminating of information on oral management for diabetes mellitus", jointly led by Asst. Prof. Kudoh, has been selected as a University of Tsukuba Social Contribution Project for the 2025 academic year.

柴山教授、Togoobaatar助教、工藤助教の3名が、UKから来日した研究者らと静岡県立大学の竹熊カツマタ麻子教授とともに、筑波大学附属病院でワークショップ「２型糖尿病の高齢者を対象とした全身振動運動」を開催しました。

Prof. Shibayama, Asst. Prof. Togoobaatar and Kudoh held a workshop on "Whole body vibration training as an adjunct therapy for Type 2 diabetes" at the University of Tsukuba Hospital, together with visiting researchers from the UK and Prof. Asako Takekuma Katsumata from the University of Shizuoka.

スワミ・ラマ・ヒマラヤン大学（インド）への訪問

Visit to Swami Rama Himalayan University (India)

柴山教授、菅谷准教授、Togoobaatar助教の3名が、インドのデヘラードゥーンにあるスワミ・ラマ・ヒマラヤン大学を訪問し、筑波大学看護学類、看護科学学位プログラムとの学生交流、共同研究についてディスカッションしてきました。訪問中には、大学に併設されていますヒマラヤン病院やがんセンターの見学のほか、地域保健へのアプローチの実際についても見学してきました。

Prof. Shibayama, Assoc. Prof. Sugaya, and Asst. Prof. Togoobaatar visited Swami Rama Himalayan University in Dehradun, India. They held discussions regarding student exchanges and joint research with School of Nursing and Doctoral & Master's Program in Nursing Science at the University of Tsukuba.

During their visit, they also toured the Himalayan Hospital and Cancer Center affiliated with the university and observed the practical approaches to community health.

2025年2月2日～8日に、さくらサイエンスプログラムにて、ガーナから8名の看護教員・看護学生が本学を訪問されました。この1週間のプログラムの中では、ガーナの学生と看護学類の学生による学生間交流を行ったほか、本研究室の柴山教授が食文化と健康、生活習慣病についての講義も行いました。

From February 2 to 8, 2025, through the Sakura Science Program, eight nursing faculty and students from Ghana visited our university.

During this week's program, there was an exchange between Ghanaian students and University of Tsukuba students, and Prof. Shibayama gave a lecture on food culture, health, and lifestyle diseases.

2021年8月10日

令和3年国際看護学セミナー「南インディアナ大学の留学体験を聞こう」を開催しました。これまでに看護学類在学中に南インディアナ日本人補習校南インディアナ大学の留学プログラムに参加し、現在も国内外でキャリアを追求している卒業生の体験談をうかがいました。コロナ禍で、渡航や海外研修・留学の制限が続きますが、今後も国内外の状況に合わせて国際交流や留学支援に努めていきます。

2020年7月22日

令和2年度人間総合科学学術院・研究科第2回FDプログラムで、博士課程2年内藤優子さんが「武者修行型学術派遣支援」による成果報告「カンボジアの保健医療施設における産婦を中心としたケアの実際」をおこないました。

2020年2月9日

博士前期課程1年椎葉奈子さんがつくば市役所コミュニティ棟で行われた多国籍社会での子育ての第1部で、ホームスタートUK訪問報告をおこないました。

2019年9月に家庭訪問型子育て支援を行う国際的非営利団体「ホームスタートUK」の、イギリス2施設（ロンドンとグラスゴー）へ訪問した際の支援体制や連携施設、利用者向け合唱クラブとボランティア養成講座へ参加し学んだことを発表しました。ロンドンでは就労目的などで生活をしている移民、グラスゴーでは利用者の4割が難民と、地域によって支援を受けている外国人家庭の生活背景が異なり、支援内容も様々であるという発表内容に対し、初めて知り驚いたという感想や、ボランティア活動に対する質問も会場からありました。つくば市長より、グラスゴー留学時代に遭遇した母子についての経験を語ってくださいました。終了後のアンケートでは、第一部もよかったという感想をいただきました。（椎葉）

2020年1月9-10日

博士課程2年ツェツェグマー・パーチャさんが学位論文研究のフィールドでお世話になったモンゴルのアムガラン国立産科病院で、研究後も出産付き添いサービスが現場で継続されるように、ウランバートル市内の医療者を対象にドゥーラトレーニングをおこないました。ツェツェグマーさんの研究に協力した助産学生のチームはモンゴルの産婦さんたちに大好評だったそうです。トゴバタラ助教と福澤助教がモンゴル国立医科大学に貢献した研究者として最高賞を受賞しました。
