筑波大学医学医療系の教授として、グローバルヘルス看護学研究室を率いることを嬉しく思います。私たちのミッションは、グローバルな視点に立った看護学の研究・教育・実践を推進することです。

私たちの研究室は、糖尿病をはじめとする非感染性疾患、健康格差、環境衛生など、差し迫ったグローバルヘルスの問題に看護学の立場から取り組むことを目的としています。研究を通して、世界中の個人とコミュニティの健康と幸福にプラスの影響を与えることができる解決策を見出すことを目指しています。また、これからは日本国内での国際化に対応した研究も必要です。仮に研究のフィールドは日本国内であっても、その成果を世界に向けて発信することで、国内外の看護の発展に貢献できます。

当研究室の大学院生として、経験豊富な研究者や仲間たちと議論を深め、進行中のプロジェクトに参加することなどをとおして、ぜひあなたの研究アイデアを発展させてください。私たちの学際的な研究室では、看護学を基盤としながらも、その枠を超えて多様な学問分野に関心を持つ学生を歓迎します。

As the professor in the Institute of Medicine at the University of Tsukuba, I am pleased to lead the Laboratory of Global Health Nursing. Our mission is to promote research, education, and nursing practice from a global perspective.

Our department aims to address pressing global health issues such as diabetes and other non-communicable diseases, health disparities, and environmental health from a nursing perspective. Our research seeks solutions that can positively impact the health and well-being of individuals and communities worldwide. In the future, we also need to conduct research that addresses internationalization within Japan. Even if our research field is within Japan, we can contribute to the development of nursing in Japan and abroad by disseminating our findings to the world.

As a graduate student in our lab, you are encouraged to develop your research ideas by engaging in discussions with experienced researchers and peers and participating in ongoing projects. Our interdisciplinary laboratory welcomes students interested in various disciplines that extend beyond nursing as a foundation.
