Bridal Veil Information

Flows here can vary from 0" IAR (inches above runnable) 300cfs to as high as 51" IAR or 1850cfs. At flows about 1400cfs and above the Lower Glen Canyon foot bridge must be portaged. 

The top graph is a representation of the cfs in the river compared to the Pipe in the bottom picture. 0" is runnable at about 300cfs.  and 40" above runnable is about 1500cfs.  If you click on this link SCADA GAUGE it will take you to the Gauge. To use this gauge scroll down to Murdock CUWCD Spill-Over-The-Weir and 800 North Provo River Aqueduct Flow add these two numbers together and that will give you an approximate flow in the BV section. add an additional 20cfs for spill over. 

For example 0.00 in Murdock CUWCD Spill-Over-the -Weir,  274.60 in 800 North Provo River Aqueduct flow plus 20 would be 294.60cfs in the BV section

0.00 + 274.61 + 20= 294.60.  There have been times where flows have added up to 2000cfs.
