Join USI ASME today
The cost register is $25, with the exception of freshman, who can register for free. If you are interested in joining the national ASME organization, follow these steps:
STEP 1: Register with ASME

Go to the ASME website and register as a student with ASME. (Our school code is 0613B.)
STEP 2: Request to Join

After you have registered, send us an email. Be sure to include the following information in your email so that we can reach you:
- Full Name
- Email Address (personal or USI)
- Mailing Address
- Phone Number
- ASME Member number (if you have one)
STEP 3: Receive your Membership Number

Upon registering and paying dues (if applicable) you will receive an ASME ID card in the mail.
The registration process can take a few weeks, but don't wait until you receive your ID to start attending USI ASME events!
