USATF MEMBERSHIP & PROOF OF AGE REQUIRED

To compete in the above Junior Olympic meets, athletes have to be a 2020 USATF member and have had their proof of age verified. Both of these actions have to be completed before an athlete enters the Ohio Association Championships. Meet entry can only be done on-line, and the on-line system will not let you enter the meet if both actions have not been done. In order to ensure that meet entry can be accomplished without a problem and at no additional cost, you should ensure that both of these actions are accomplished at least a week prior to the entry cut off date established for the Championship meet you plan to compete in. See note below.

USATF membership can be obtained on-line at www.usatf.org/membership (preferred and fastest way to get membership number).

USATF Membership can also be obtained by contacting the Ohio Association membership chairperson Brenda Martin at 937-837-5069. This has to be done prior to June 17th to ensure number and age verification is received prior to the applicable Ohio Association Championship Meet entry deadline.

Proof of age can be one of the following: birth certificate, certified baptismal record, drivers license, passport, or government identification card. If your 2019 USATF membership card indicates that birth has been previously verified (card has YES under DOB verified), you do not have to provide proof of age.

If birth has not been verified, please email a copy to young91494@aol.com or send a copy of your proof of age to the following address:

USATF Ohio Association, 5026 Silver Arrow Dr, Dayton, Ohio 45424.

NOTE: A fee of $ 25.00 per athlete (in addition to entry fee charges) will be charged if USATF membership number is not obtained and/or proof of age has not been provided to our membership chair prior to the cut off date for doing so established for the Ohio Championship meets.

Cutoff date for having membership number and date of birth verified for Individual Events Meet is June 17th.
