Dunton Bassett Posada Journey for 2025 begins.....follow the unfolding story
Our Posada Mary, Joseph and Donkey started their journey last Sunday at the beginning of Advent. They will move from house to house in the village every day until they arrive back in church for the crib service at 4pm on 24th Christmas Eve. Posada started in Mexico and is the Spanish word for "Inn". The journey represents Mary & Joseph's journey to Bethlehem and also invites families to reflect on welcoming Jesus and making space for him in our lives.
The pictures have now started to come in.
Advent Sunday - 30th November 2025 - We started our journey in Claybrooke Parva Church this morning and enjoyed God’s beautiful creation as we travelled to our first overnight stop.
