The general objective is to provide students with a broad understanding of electricity generation process and equipment. At the end of the course, student should be able to understand principles of energy conversion from fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, gas, nuclear fuels and other alternates of energy production. Students will also be able to understand the environmental aspects on production of electrical energy.
