It is a postgraduate level course that will discuss various energy options and resource types available for exploitation with special emphasis on renewable energy resources and their use in the light of environmental implications such as greenhouse gas effect and its mitigation methodologies. The course will focus on the fundamentals and applications of energy system modelling and explain the environmental consequences of energy production and consumption.
