The objective of the course is to provide education, training and awareness along with practical field experience in the field of community services to NUST undergraduate students on mandatory basis.
Learning Objectives:
The course should:
(1) Impart general awareness and knowledge among students about social issues.
(2) To develop social guidance amongst NUST students to become socially active citizen.
(3) To have a discernible positive impact on society through active citizenry.
Outcomes: Students should:
(1) Become aware of various areas of community service and of relevant ongoing philanthropic activities in the Community.
(2) Develop a sense of responsibility, compassion and empathy towards the community.
(3) Contribute to have a discernible impact on the community.
