Important Announcements on Practicals

Three important announcements for BIO315:

1. There will be an extension to the deadline for the 1st practical until next Monday (17th March) due to problems with the Galaxy Server

2. Regarding the Practicals, although you are all advised to hand them in on time there are two deadlines for each assignment. a) A soft deadline to be announced for every practical (usually 2 weeks after the practical is introduced) and b) A "hard" deadline a few days before the finals. Assignments handed in at the soft deadline will get a bonus of being graded with a max of 10 while for those handed in at the hard deadline this will be 9.

3. By the end of the soft deadline your grades for each practical will be announced here: https://sites.google.com/site/uocbio315/announcementboard. You are also welcome to resubmit your assignments at the hard deadline if your grade is below 9 and you think you need a second chance.
