BECOME A UH PTA MEMBER

Why join PTA? The number one reason to join UH PTA is your child!

You partner with the principal, teachers, and staff to make your child's school a safe, welcoming hub of learning and a fun place to be.

You connect with other parents, teachers, and school administrators. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your child’s school and community.

You show your child that school matters, and that you are invested in his or her success.

You share and support PTA- and school-sponsored events and experiences such as Family Fun Night, Family Bingo Night, student literacy programs, school assemblies, and class trips that make your child’s school days more memorable!

You help make sure parents’ and family members’ voices are heard when important decisions that affect your school are made.

You grow through volunteer opportunities when you use your skills and hobbies for a relevant cause while setting a good example for your child and all children in the community.

After joining the UH PTA, you will receive an email that includes your electronic membership card and information on membership benefits. PTA members are not limited to parents and guardians--anyone who supports your child can support our PTA: grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, etc. PTA meetings are held monthly throughout the year, usually on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm (please refer to the UH PTA calendar for specific dates).

To become a member, go to this link and return the bottom portion of the form filled out to your child’s teacher along with the $10 membership fee per person as soon as possible. You need to rejoin every year, but you only need to join once per year regardless of how many children in your family are enrolled at our school. Checks should be made payable to UH PTA.
