We studied ultrafast carrier and phonon dynamics in BSTS thin films using pump-probe spectroscopy, revealing how thickness and temperature influence acoustic phonon behavior—key for thermoelectric applications. Samples were provided by Prof. Chiranjib Mitra’s group (Sambhu Nath), and numerical simulations were performed by Dheerendra Singh from Prof. P. K. Panigrahi’s group. From Ultrafast THz Spectroscopy Group, IISER Kolkata Department of Physical Sciences: Thrilled to share that our research—'Tracking complete voyage of magnetic dimensional cross-over in a layered Van der Waals Heisenberg ferromagnet, CrSiTe3, using photoexcited carriers and picosecond acoustic strain pulses in time-domain pump-probe spectroscopy'—is finally online in Phys.
