Summary
Summary
While negotiating a treaty on the planet Edora, SG-1 observe the annual meteor shower, the Fire Rain.
When SG-1 witness the daytime impact of a meteorite, and with the evidence Daniel finds in a nearby cave, they realise that this year's Fire Rain is the peak of a 150 year cycle, and they attempt to evacuate the population back to earth through the Stargate.
While Jack is trying to convince some stubborn Edorans to leave the Stargate is hit by a meteorite and buried, leaving him stranded on Edora.
As Sam desperately works to find a way to rescue him, Jack tries to come to terms with the situation and the prospect that he may never return to Earth.
