Hi! My name is Kerstin Meyers and I am the German instructor at UHS as well as Pima Communtity College. I have twenty years experience in teaching all levels of language acquisition, from small kids to adults at the college and university level. I use a communicative immersion approach in teaching German, which means that the main language of communication in class will be German, but it is done in a non-threatening approach, moving from simplified speech to more complex structures as the years progress. My mission as a teacher is to help students thrive, both in German and as a developing young person.
