This is a tribute to some well known and some not so well known great souls who influenced me in my journey. This influence was not conscious because neither they wanted to influence nor I wanted to be influenced, but it happened gradually but certainly. The inclusion to this list is based upon the amount of influence, though not directly measured using some standard metric, but evaluated through close introspection. The influences vary from professional to personal life and covers various aspects of my personality. In fact these people influenced my very existence and made me 'me'. The ordering is according to their appearance in my life and I do not discriminate based on how much they influenced me. Some have been teachers', some colleagues and some friends. I have not included family (by which I mean blood relation, because many have come close enough to be called family).
