UCHA ACADEMIC FAIR

The academic fair is a chance for students of all ages to prepare presentations about any subject that interests them. This is a day of fun and participation is encouraged, but optional.

The subjects can be about science, history, people, hobbies, or other interests.

Some of the topics displayed in the past include raising livestock, tornadoes, the history of Legos, setting up a website, art, sewing, and reports about authors, scientists, US Presidents, and even fictional characters. Students are welcome to dress up as a character, but this is optional.

If the student does not want to do a display on their own, they can work with their siblings, friends, or UCHA classes.

Tables will be set up for display boards and items that they want to display.

Students will set up their displays during the first period and classes will each have an opportunity to visit the displays and speak to those presenting during second and third periods.

The students will be able to participate in having their presentations judged if they would like. Judging will be grouped according to age groups.

Sign ups for the fair will be done to allow for proper planning and set up.
