CONFEDERATE LEGACY

WHAT IS A CONFEDERATE LEGACY?

A Confederate Legacy is a boy or girl in whom a member of the Texas Society Order of Confederate Rose wishes to cultivate an interest in southern heritage and culture. Each Legacy should read the Legacy Booklet found on the "APPLICATIONS AND FORMS" page.

WHAT DOES THE CONFEDERATE LEGACY DO?

Sponsors will aspire to instill in Legacy members a sense of understanding, appreciation and pride in southern history and traditions; and to honor those who sacrificed so much in defense of their southern homeland. Legacy members may participate in educational, benevolent and social functions as well as historical preservation with their sponsor(s). They may attend TSOCR and TDSCV meetings, however meetings are not required.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN?

Referred to as “Little Rebels” (boys) and “Rose Petals” (girls), any child may enroll as a Confederate Legacy from birth through age twelve.
