Rose of the Year Award

Rose of the Year is the highest award TSOCR award that be bestowed upon member. It is awarded to the person who has distinguished themselves by going over and above what is required and expected of them as a member, officer or chairperson. All members in good standing are encouraged to submit an application for the Rose of the Year award to the Awards Committee Chairperson. The nominating form with eligibility requirements is below. DEADLINE FOR THE NOMINATION TO BE RECEIVED BY THE COMMITTEE IS MAY 1 of each year.

The recipient of this award is determined by the Awards Committee which consists of 3 TSOCR members in good standing. Each member is from a different chapter and a different area of the state of Texas.

Silver Leaf Award

The Silver Leaf Award is presented to the TSOCR Chapter with the highest percentage of new members for the period of June 1 through May 31 of each year. The numbers are based on “new” memberships to TSOCR. Reinstatement and transfer memberships do not count toward this award.

The recipient of this award is determined by the Awards Committee in conjunction with the TSOCR Secretary and TSOCR Treasurer’s respective records.

A framed certificate will be presented to the Chapter Representative of the winning Chapter at the TSOCR Annual Meeting.
