Statement of Ambition
Your “statement of your ambitions and life purpose” is your vision of where you are going in life. What’s your journey as an adult look like? How has your scouting experience influenced your life, changed your outlook, made you who you are, and guided you in what you want to do in the future. Scouts who have been successful in scouting will find that this success has spread to other areas of their life. This is especially true of Eagle candidates, as their life will demonstrate the Scout Oath and Law in everything they do.
This is what your Board of Review is going to want to know. Part of the Eagle Scout application is to complete a Statement of Ambitions and Life Purpose. Scouting.
A statement of ambitions and life purpose should include:
A listing of positions held in your religious institution, school, camp, community, or other organizations, during which you demonstrated leadership skills.
Include honors and awards received during this service.
This should be in your own words and reflect an honest effort. You should bring this to your Scoutmaster conference.
