March/April 2024 Colorado Plateau, Bears Ears and Four Corners

One Vigorous Hiker, Rick, three TVH Alum, Bob, Joan (Arizona) and Roger (Chicago), and one veteran of multiple Bob-led treks, Lynn (Vancouver, BC), spent 8-14 days together exploring the trails, mesas, canyons and ancient ruins of the Colorado Plateau in Bears Ears National Monument and the Four Corners region.  The group hiked every day in weather that varied from wintry to t-shirts and shorts, visiting Chaco Culture  National Historical Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Hovenweep, Canyons of the Ancients and Bears Ears National Monuments, Goosenecks State Park and other attractions, operating mostly out of a base in Blanding, Utah.
