Scoutmaster Doug Reece
Doug has been with the Troop since 2002, serving as Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster. His two sons, Alex and Ben, both earned the Eagle rank in the Troop. He enjoys the Scouting outdoor program and has led scouts on Appalachian Trail backpacking trips for the past several summers. Doug has served in various ways at the District level, including as a member of the training team for Scoutmaster Position Specific Training and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills for over 5 years. He was awarded the District Award of Merit in 2021.

Troop 613 has dedicated ASMs and Troop Committee members who have served the troop (and district) for many years. These scouters include district position-of-the-year recipients, District Award of Merit recipients, and Eagle Scouts. We also have adults new to Scouting and we encourage all parents to join in helping with the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the troop running.
