The Boy Scouts of America Eagle Promise

"I reaffirm my allegiance to the three promises of the Scout Oath. I thoughtfully recognize and take upon myself the obligations and responsibilities of the rank of Eagle Scout. On my honor, I will do my best to make my training an example of my rank and my influence count strongly and for better citizenship, in my home, in my community and in my contacts with other people. To this I pledge my sacred honor."

Only the finest young leaders from Penns Valley have advanced themselves to the rank of Eagle Scout through their involvement in Troop 20. Since 1914, Centre Hall's Boy Scout Troop has been preparing youth for future leadership roles in business, the military, industry, education and their communities. The Eagle Scout projects led by these Scouts have resulted in numerous improvements to communities, school and recreational areas in the Penns Valley region. Congratulations to the Eagle Scouts from our Troop.
