Character Counts! Scouts BSA Troop 20 was first organized in Centre Hall in 1914 -- and re-formed in the 1930's. The Troop is focused on the philosophy of 'scout-run leadership' and is dedicated to producing future leaders who act with integrity, show their personal evidence of goodness in their communities and workplaces and live lives with purpose. Boys and young men are always welcome to join Troop 20 regardless of previous Scouting experience. Girls and young women are also welcome to join Scouts BSA. New troops for girls are already well established in Centre County to bring the challenge of the scouting program to interested girls. Contact the Scoutmaster or stop by one of the weekly meetings for more information. See below to support our Troop with a financial donation!
Support Troop 20 with financial donations.
If you believe in the promise of the Boy Scout experience, support the youth of Centre Hall by contributing to Troop 20. With your help, we can send every boy to summer Boy Scout camp, buy much needed equipment and strengthen our programs to help build character. Troop 20 has established a special Summer Campership Aid Fund and your donations to that fund will be applied to help all of our boys attend a week of summer Boy Scout Camp. Contact our treasurer, Jamie Williams (email: lexiqute@gmail.com ), to make a donation.
Parents are welcome at our Troop meetings!
