Igloo Camping at Steven's Pass
On Saturday, Feburary 27 Scouts from Troop 16 out of Mukilteo made their way up to Stevens Pass to begin construction on Igloos. They had a fantastic experience building and then sleeping in the igloos they built after completing extensive training on outdoor winter survival.

Summer Camp 2013
August 4-11 @ Cap Parsons, Washington
17 boys from Pack 16 attended this year's summer camp, which was held at Camp Parsons on the Hood Canal. It was the first summer camp for most of the Scouts and resulted in a number of them completing all the requirements for advancement.
Ingalls Creek Hike
July 20-21 @ Ingals Creek, Washington
A number of boys from Troop 16 made the 6.2 mile round trip hike on the Ingalls Creek trail.
Deception Pass and Goose Rock
June 15-16 @ Deception Pass, Washington
Saturday was a beautiful PNW day. The scouts camped overnight at Deception Pass and hiked around Goose Rock, across part of the Deception Pass bridge and then back and up to the top of Goose Rock. The entire hike provided spectacular views and many achieved their second class 5-mile hike with a compass requirement. They cooked lunch, dinner and breakfast the following morning. Two of the scouts achieved their first class requirement of planning three meals. A good time was had by all!!
Boyscout Camporee
May 3 - May 5 @ Fire Mountain
A number of Troop 16 Scouts attended the Mt. Baker Council Camporee at Fire Mountain. They enjoyed sunny days and cold nights, competed against 16 area troops in different events.
A great time was had by all.

Boy Scout Troop 16 had the honor of doing the ceremonial flag raising for the beginning of Mukilteo Lighthouse season.
Jetty Island - Trash Clean Up
Sunday, February 24
11 Scouts from the troop made their way over to Jetty Island on Sunday and spent the next 2 1/2 hours scouring the area for trash. In all, they collected 9 full bags of trash.
