BIO:
I'm originally from New Jersey, just outside of New York City. After I graduated from Pascack Valley High School, I attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where I studied History, Education, and Film and played baseball for the VC Brewers. I lived in Poughkeepsie for a year after I graduated where I did student teaching and eventually worked at a local high school, Franklin D. Roosevelt High school in Hyde Park, New York.
A year later, I moved to Boston and began working at Hudson High School. This school year will be my twentieth year at Hudson High where I have taught U.S. History, World History, Economics, and an elective that merges the study of history and film.
When I am not in the classroom, chances are that I can be found on the baseball diamond. This spring, I will start my twelfth season as the varsity baseball coach for Hudson High School. This past summer, I spent a lot of time on the golf course, and did some research on the history of the Major League Baseball Players Association that will hopefully result in a book some day. In addition to baseball, I have taken up an avid interest in running. I ran the Boston Marathon in 2006 and 2007 and ran the Miles Standish Marathon in November 2012. I'm not sure that there is another marathon in my immediate future, especially with some recent knee pain; half marathons are more my speed now!
I'm very excited for the 2024-2025 school year. It is always fun to get a new crop of students and to see familiar faces from previous years. I'm looking forward to a challenging but fun school year.

Favorite Quote:
"Within the ballpark, time moves differently, marked by no clock except the events of the game... Since baseball time is measured only in outs, all you have to do is succeed utterly; keep hitting, keep the rally alive, and you have defeated time. You remain forever young."
- Roger Angell, "The Interior Stadium"
