An Unofficial Guide to Peace Corps
Applying, Training, Serving and Returning from Peace Corps
As I was applying to Peace Corps during my senior year of college I quickly realized there weren't as many resources out there for Peace Corps applicants as I had hoped there would be. I wanted to know what to put on my application, what the interview was like, what would happen if I declined my invitation, and answers to many other questions. Although all the Volunteers I spoke with loved Peace Corps, they couldn't remember or didn't know the answers to a lot of my questions. So I decided to keep track of my questions throughout the process and then try my best to answer them so that I could later share those answers with others as they went through Peace Corps themselves.
As I graduated college this past May, Campbell University's Student Support Services decided to print the part of my guide which covers applying and getting Peace Corps. It is currently available for free to any student. You can also download it here:

As I prepare for and leave to serve in Mongolia with Peace Corps, I am continuing to add on to this book. I look forward to including more and more information about what Peace Corps is really like and how to make the most of it. If you have any questions or comments regarding this book or Peace Corps in general, please feel free to e-mail me at any time. Thanks!
