The digital age has given us many information sources, broadening our travel horizons.
The traditional guide books have their uses, but inaccuracy can be a problem. On a recent trip I had two instances where a guide book published 14 months before was incorrect. On one occasion I used wi-fi on my smartphone to find a location! Websites have the opportunity to be more accurate because they can be updated easily and users can easily provide feedback.

Use Google Search to see the time in many cities around the world. Type in “time” and the name of the city.

Use Google Search to see these times in many cities around the world. Type “sunrise” or “sunset” followed by the city name.
Weather and climate
Use Google Search to see the weather in many cities around the world. Type “weather” followed by the name of the city.
Note that government meteorological departments will usually provide better weather forecasts than global sites such as Accuweather, because they may use several mathematical models, and apply local knowledge.
