Parks & Recreation Plan Input

Halifax County is working to develop a county-wide plan for parks and recreation. Community leaders are conducting a series of public workshops throughout the month of February. They are looking for both adults and youth to provide their input and thoughts on recreation opportunities in the county. Both AHG and Trail Life members have the opportunity to contribute to the development of community programs by providing their valuable input on what youth want for fun, recreation, and play.

See the attached flyers for dates and locations. Meetings will be from 6-8PM unless otherwise stated. The first meeting will be February 11, 2014 in Halifax at the AG Center Auditorium.
