RULES FOR AP TOURISM HOTELS, RESORTS AND ACCOMMODATIONS:

BOOKING RULES:

1) Bookings shall be accepted with a minimum of One Day (24 hours) Advance & Maximum Two Hundred (200) Days Advance prior to Check-in Date,

2) Two (02) Adults and Two (02) Children below 10 years are accommodated in a double room, One Extra Person (Adult) per room is allowed at an extra charges of Rs.200/- for Non AC Room & Rs.300/- for AC Room, these charges are payable at the time of Check-in at Hotel, Extra Bed / Mattress will be provided subject to availability only.

3) Tariffs are subject to change and any difference in the change of tariff will be collected at the time of check-in,

4) Tourist is required to carry the Confirmed Accommodation Voucher / Ticket along with a valid ID proof.

CANCELLATION RULES:

1) No Cancellation / No Refunds shall be allowed if the ticket is surrendered for cancellation within One (01) Day (24 hours) before Check-in Date / Time, No Cancellation / No Refunds shall be allowed on Check-in Date, No Cancellation / No Refunds shall be allowed after Check-in Date / Time,

2) If the ticket is presented for cancellation within Two (02) Days (48 hours) in advance and up to One Day (24 hours) before the Check-in Date / Time, cancellation charges shall be deducted at a rate of 20% on room tariff amount,

3) If a ticket is presented for cancellation more than Two (02) Days (48 hours) in advance of the Check-in Date / Time, cancellation charge shall be deducted at the flat rate of 10% on ticket value,

4) Partial Cancellation is allowed only for One Time subject to cancellation rules as mentioned at S No.1,2,3 above (No Further Cancellation / No Refund after One Time Partial Cancellation),

5) Full Preponement / Postponement is allowed only for One Time subject to availability provided the ticket is presented more than One Day (24 hours) in advance of the Check-in Date / Time (No Further Cancellation / No Refund after One Time Preponement / Postponement). Partial Preponement / Partial Postponement is not allowed,

6) A ticket once modified (preponed / postponed / partially cancelled) cannot be further modified or allowed for further cancellation / preponement or postponement,

7) DISCOUNTED RESERVATIONS CANNOT BE CANCELLED / PREPONED / POSTPONED,

8) No refund will be given if ticket is cancelled against Terms & Conditions of APTDC, by the tourist in any unforeseen conditions or naturalcalamities or strikes or any other reasons,

BARUVA HARITHA BEACH RESORT

Baruva is a village and a beach resort located near Sompeta in Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh, India. The Mahendra Tanaya River merges into the Bay of Bengal at this place. Baruva was used as a seaport in the era of British colonial rule in India up to 1948. In July 1917 a ship carrying goods sank in the sea. To commemorate this incident a pillar was constructed.[2] The harbor is closed, but the old lighthouse stood until 2000. A light house has been constructed next to the beach resort. Baruva's beach is one of the oldest in Andhra Pradesh.

ETTIPOTHALA HARITHA HOTEL (Near Nagarjuna Sagar)

Ethipothala Falls is a 70 feet (21 m) high river cascade, situated on the Chandravanka river, a tributary of the River Krishna. The waterfall is a combination of three streams namely Chandravanka Vagu, Nakkala Vagu and Tummala Vagu. It is situated about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from Nagarjuna Sagar Dam. The river then joins the Krishna river after the dam after traveling about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from the falls. A strategic view point was created by Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department from the adjacent hillock. The waterfall is a sight to behold in the evenings, after the sun sets, as the colourful lights decorating the fall come to life and give an astonishing view of the spellbinding beauty of the cascade and its surroundings. Close to Ethipothala, there are many historic Buddhist sites that are worth exploring. There are Ranganatha and Dattatreya temples in the vicinity. There is a crocodile breeding centre in the lagoon formed by the falls.

KADAPA HARITHA HOTEL

Kadapa (formerly known as Cuddapah) is a city (municipal corporation) in Rayalseema, a region of the south-central part of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is the second largest city in the state after Visakhapatnam and is the district headquarters of Kadapa district.

It is one of the oldest municipalities in Kadapa District and is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) south of the Penna River. MAHANANDI HARITHA HOTEL

Mahanandi is a village located east of the Nallamala Hills near Nandyal, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a picturesque village surrounded by thick forests. SRISAILAM HARITHA HOTEL

The Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Temple located in Srisailam is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples dedicated to Siva. Bhramarambha Temple is also located in the same complex. It is considered as one of the eighteen Sakti peethas in India. Bhramarambha is a very ferocious deity. Originally she was worshipped by the Chenchu people. Vijayawada is the second largest city and forms part of the capital area of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Krishna River. The city is a major trading and business center and hence, it is also known as “The Business Capital of Andhra Pradesh”.

Vijayawada history reveals that Bezawada (Vijayawada) was ruled by King Madhava Varma (Ancestor of Pusapatis of Vizianagaram). The remains of the pre-historic man and society of the Stone Age is found all along the River Krishna, which dominates the landscape of Vijayawada.

There are many tales behind the origin of the name Vijayawada. Goddesses Durga killed the demon and relaxed in this place for some time. As she was victorious (Vijaya), the place got the name as Vijayawada (Vijaya: victory and Wada: place/location) which literally means "The Place of Victory". The Epic of Mahabharata refers to Indrakiladri hills as the place where Arjuna secured "Pasupathastra" from Lord Siva. The city thereafter came to be known as Vijayavatika and later as Vijayawada.

In some legends, Vijayawada was referred to as Rajendracholapura. A tale behind its acquiring the name "Bezawada" is that Goddesses Krishnaveni (River Krishna) requested Arjuna to make a passage for her to merge into the Bay of Bengal. Hence, Arjuna made a bejjam (hole) through the mountains and the place came to be known as Bejjamwada which later changed to Bezawada.

Vijayawada is surrounded by the Krishna river on the east and west, and the Budameru River on the north. The northern, northwestern, and southwestern parts of the city are covered by a low range of hills, while the central, southwestern and northwestern parts are covered by rich and fertile agriculture lands with three major irrigation canals. The topography of Vijayawada is flat, with a few small to medium-sized hills. The Krishna River runs through the city. These hills are part of the Eastern Ghats cut through by the Krishna river. They have very low elevation compared to the average elevation of the ghats. Three canals originating from the north side of the Prakasham barrage reservoir, Eluru, Bandar and Ryves, run through the city.

Hindu texts state that during the fifth century BC, the Visakhapatnam region was part of Kalinga territory, which extended to the Godavari River. Relics found in the area also prove the existence of a Buddhist empire in the region. Kalinga later lost the territory to King Ashoka in the bloodiest battle of its time, which prompted Ashoka to embrace Buddhism. Visakhapatnam is surrounded by ancient Buddhist sites, most of which have been excavated recently and illustrate the legacy of Buddhism in the region.

It is situated in the Eastern Ghats and on the coast of Bay of Bengal on the east. The city is known for heavy industries, steel plant, largest seaport of India and oldest shipyard. It has the only natural harbour of India and headquarters of the Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy.

BASARA HARITHA HOTEL

Basar is a census town in the Adilabad district in the state of Telangana. It is about 30 km (19 mi) from Bhainsa, 15.5 km (10 mi) from Dharmabad, 34.8 km (22 mi) from Nizamabad, 70 km (43 mi) from Nirmal, and 205 km (127 mi) from Hyderabad.

Gnana Saraswati Temple is a Hindu temple of Goddess Saraswati located on the banks of Godavari River at Basar, Telangana, India. It is one of the two famous Saraswati temples in India, the other being in Jammu & Kashmir. Saraswati is the Hindu Goddess of knowledge and learning. Children are brought to the temple for the learning ceremony called as Akshara Abhyasam.

Many pilgrims come to Basara to perform the "Akshara Abhyasam" ceremony for the children before they start formal school education. The children perform the exercise of letters, and devote books, pens, pencils notebooks to the goddess of knowledge. The Puja at the temple starts at 4 am in morning with Abhishekam which carries on for an hour. At 5 o'clock they start the Alankarana whereby the new sarees are adorned to the goddesses. The whole atmosphere is very pious and pure. At 6 am, in the rays of the morning sun, the aarti starts at the temple after which the prasadam is given to the devotees.

Special poojas and celebrations are held at the temple during Maha Shivaratri, beginning 15 days before (Vasantha Panchami) and continuing 3 days after the festival. Devi Navarathrulu is celebrated for ten days during Dasara.

The temple also has a Mahakali idol situated on the 1st floor very near to the main temple. Devotees often go to the nearby mountain which has an Idol of Goddess Saraswati on the top of the rock. The image of Lakshmi stands besides the Goddess Saraswati in the sanctum sanctorum. Due to the presence of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Kali, Basara is considered as the abode of the divine trinity.

BHADRACHALAM HARITHA HOTEL

Bhadrachalam is a Census town in Khammam District of Telangana, India. It is an important Hindu pilgrimage town, situated on the banks of Godavari River. It is located 312 kilometres (194 mi) East of state capital, Hyderabad. The town is famous for temple of Lord Rama.

Paleolithic man probably roamed around the areas of lower Godavari valley and the surroundings of Bhadrachalam. The town has a documented history of Lord Sri Rama temple constructed circa 17th Century CE (nearly 370 years ago).

Legend has it that the present town is situated in an area which once formed part of the Dandakaranya forest, and said to be visited by Sri Rama, Sita and Lakshmana during their exile (vanavasam). The forest in the vicinity of the temple was the site of Rama's retreat and it was at the Parnasala (32 km from here) that he built a hut for himself and Sita and from where Sita was abducted by Ravana.

The history of this shrine stands for the significance of Ramayana Era, and vicinity of the temple had its incongruous add mixture of another story which depicts the exigency of " Sri Mahavishnu " to manifest himself as Rama long after Ramavatara was to fulfill his promise to his Bhakta Bhadra (a mountain king), a sage who had been continuing the frightened penance to get grace of Lord Rama. The name Bhadrachalam derived from Bhadragiri (Mountain of Bhadra - child of Meru and Menaka).

The temple at Bhadrachalam has the Archa Murthys of Rama, Sita and Lakshmana and are considered to be Swayambhu (self-manifested ones). Lord Sri Rama appeared in a dream to a woman called Pokala Dammakka and informed her about the existence of vigrahas on Bhadragiri hills. To her surprise she found the "Vigraha's" and put up a modest structure. Dhammakka, cleared jungle and offered puja to the deities.

On 17 Nov 1959 the Bhadrachalam Revenue Division, consisting of Bhadrachalam and Nuguru Venkatapuram Taluks of East Godavari district were merged into the Khammam district through GO No 553. for geographical contiguity and administrative viability.

CHILKUR HARITHA HOTEL

Chilkur Balaji Temple popularly known as Visa Balaji Temple or Visa God is an ancient Hindu temple of Lord Balaji on the banks of Osman Sagar Lake near Hyderabad, India. It is 17 km from Mehedipatnam. It is one of the oldest temples in Hyderabad built during the time of Madanna and Akkanna, the uncles of Bhakta Ramadas.

The shrine is instrumental for the temple's popularity as Visa God.

This temple does not accept any money, does not have a hundi, from the devotees, no green channel or privileges for VVIPs. The other such temple is the Jalaram temple in Virpur (Rajkot), Gujarat. The temple at Chilkur is managed by the hereditary trustee Sri M.V. Soundara Rajan and Sri C.S. Gopala Krishna. The entire family of the archaka, including the women are dedicated themselves to serve the God.

This temple fought and won the right to stay out of government control. The only other such temple is "Ramanuj Kot", a temple in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

GADWAL HARITHA HOTEL

Gadwal is a municipal town in Mahbubnagar district of Telangana, India. It is located 188 km from the state capital Hyderabad. It is also an assembly Constituency in Telangana state.

TARAMATI BARADARI HARITHA RESORT

Taramati Baradari is a historical sarai as part of Ibrahim Bagh, a Persian style garden built during the reign of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah, the second Sultan of Golconda.

The Baradari was constructed on the banks of the Musi river. Today, the region comes under the city limits of Hyderabad, India. The tourism department attributes the name to the reign of the Seventh Sultan of Golconda, Abdullah Qutb Shah who as an ode to his favorite courtesan, Taramati, is said to have named the sarai Taramati Baradari.

Taramati Baradari pavilion has 12 doorways and was constructed to allow cross ventilation and is one of the most indigenous techniques to have been used at that time.

The open pavilion includes other facilities like an air-cooled theatre with capacity of 500 people, open-air auditorium with capacity of 1600 people, Banquet Hall with capacity of 250, and multi-cuisine restaurant.

KEESARAGUTTA HARITHA HOTEL

Keesaragutta Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Siva and his consorts Bhavani and Sivadurga at Keesaragutta in Rangareddy district. It is about 30 km from Hyderabad and 10 km from ECIL. It is located on a small hillock. The temple draws thousands of devotees on Shivaratri.

Legend has it that Sri Rama installed the Siva lingam here to atone for the sin of killing Ravana, a Brahman. He selected this beautiful valley surrounded by hills and verdant greenery for the purpose and ordered Hanuman to bring a Sivlingam from Varanasi. Hanuman was late in arriving with the Siva lingam and as the auspicious hour was nearing, Lord Siva himself appeared before Sri Rama and presented a Sivilingam for installation. Hence the lingam in the temple is called Swayambhu Linga. It is also called Ramalingeswara as lord Sri Rama had installed the lingam.

Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is the world's largest masonry dam. It was built on the Krishna River at Nagarjuna Sagar in between Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh state and Nalgonda district of Telangana state, India. The construction duration of the dam was between the years of 1955 and 1967. The dam created a water reservoir whose capacity is 11,472,000,000 cubic metres (4.051×1011 cu ft). The dam is 490 feet (150 m) tall and 0.99 miles (1.6 km) long with 26 gates which are 42 feet (13 m) wide and 45 feet (14 m) tall.[2] Nagarjuna Sagar was the earliest in the series of large infrastructure projects initiated for the Green Revolution in India; it also is one of the earliest multi-purpose irrigation and hydro-electric projects in India.

The dam provides irrigation water to the Nalgonda, Prakasam, Khammam, Krishna and Guntur districts along with electric power to the national grid.

YADAGIRIGUTTA HARITHA HOTEL

Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple or Yadagirigutta or Bhongir is a popular Hindu Temple of Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation Lord Vishnu. It is situated on a hillock in the Nalgonda district, Telangana, India, 60 kilometers from the city of Hyderabad. Huge number of devotees visit the temple on Sundays and public holidays.

The temple is popular and busy throughout the year with various religious events. The annual brahmotsavam is held in the month of March, which includes Yedurkolu, The Celestial Wedding and Divya Vimana Rathotsavam. The birthday of Lord Narasimha is celebrated on 28 April every year.

Lord Narasimha is also known as Yadagiri, hence the name Yadagirigutta.
