Today, proceed to Mysore. On your way, visit Srirangpattanam - the capital of Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan. On arrival, check into the hotel. In the evening, enjoy visiting the Brindavan Gardens. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Mysore - Ooty

Meals: Breakfast

Today, proceed on an excursion tour. Visit one of the best-preserved Hoysala Temples at Somnathpur. In the afternoon, enjoy the beauty and charm of the famous Mysore Palace. Take forward your journey into the picturesque blue Nilgiri hills past tea plantations to reach Ooty. On arrival in Ooty, check into your hotel. Spend the day at leisure. This morning, enjoy a tour to the 'Queen of the Blue Mountains'. A visit to the Dodabetta peak will sweep you off your feet with its spectacular view. Later, a drive to Coonoor and visit to the Sims Park and 'Dolphin' nose point and further to the Botanical Garden and the famous Ooty lake will make your day. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Ooty - Coimbatore (250 Km / 7 hours)

Transfer to the Coimbatore airport or Coimbatore railway station for return journey.

Family of 4 vacationed in Ooty - 2 days in December 2011. Requested our rooms be closer to the main area and they immediatedly accomodated our requests. Our rooms were spacious and furnished with colonial furniture and fixtures. Special compliments to chef Joseph who is a superb cook. This is a great old world hotel which is clean, efficient and with real fireplaces ::) The staff are courteous and efficient as you would expect from a taj hotel! Breakfast spread is vast and tastes good so is the buffet dinner spread! We spent only 1 night here but it was an amazing experience!

Good service right from the reception, upgrade to a better room at no extra cost. Maneesh at the restaurant made our dinner smoother after the tiring trip. Good sleep with real firewood burning to make it a warm room. Breakfast was a treat with excellent Dosa"s from Chef Joseph

I was on a trip with my husband and in-laws. My father-in-law has a great taste when it comes to hotels and restaurants etc. He also runs a travel/tourism business and he chose this particular hotel because of its high popularity index. DAY 1 Check in to the beautiful Sterling Elk Hill Resort in Ooty after 12 noon.Have breakfast.You can relax for the rest of the day or visit the Nilgiri Hills or explore exciting places around Ooty.Read a book in the in-house library or play with your kids in the play area.Visit the club and play some exciting indoor and outdoor games.Unwind the day with a delicious dinner.

DAY 2 Wake up early the next morning and after breakfast check out after 10 am and head back home towards return journey.

Itinerary:

DAY 1 Arrive at Ooty and check in to the Sherlock hotel.Relax.After breakfast go for trekking along the hills.Return back after a tiring day.Have dinner.

DAY 2 Wake up early and have breakfast.Indulge in activities like Joy Fishing, Open Jeep Ride, Horse Riding, Visit to Tea Estate and sightseeing of Ooty and Coonoor.Get back and go to sleep after dinner.

DAY 3 Check out the next morning after breakfast and head back home after a memorable stay

• Accomodation with Breakfast on all days in Destiny Farm Stay.

• Child below 5 years complimentary.

• Activities like Horse riding,Fishing,Diary farm visit and indoor games are included in the package.

• Accommodation on twin-sharing basis as per the itinerary.

Exclusions:

• Extra child between 5-12 years will be charged 950 per day for break fast and extra bed

DAY 2 Wake up early and have breakfast.Indulge in activities like Joy Fishing, Open Jeep Ride, Horse Riding, Visit to Dairy Farm sightseeing of Ooty and Coonoor.Have a great dinner.Retire to bed.

Mudumalai sightseeing(Pykara Waterfalls, Lake and Mudumalai sightseeing)

Back to Ooty hotel.

Return to hotel in the evening.
